About SGI

What is SGI?

Scottish Grappling Invitational (or SGI for short) is the Sub Only contest run by Scottish Grappling.

The show features one on one contests (both gi and no gi), championship tournaments and also our “Square Go” Team elimination format.

Our aim is to give Scottish athletes the chance to develop in this exciting ruleset with several competitors moving on to compete in larger profile events such as Grapplefest and Polaris.

Ultimately however we aim to be Scotland’s answer to these shows with the biggest and best names in grappling coming to Scotland to showcase their skills.
