Scottish Grappling

Scotland's premier Brazilian JiuJitsu Tournament Organisers

About Scottish Grappling

Scottish Grappling is one of Scotland's established organisers of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and grappling competitions, delivering events for junior, adult and masters competitors throughout the year.

Our aim is straightforward: to run well-organised competitions that give athletes the best possible opportunity to compete in fair, meaningful matches.

Competition for Everyone

Our events welcome competitors from academies across Scotland, the rest of the UK and beyond, from children taking their first steps into competition through to experienced adult and masters athletes.

We recognise that no two competitors are the same. This is particularly important in junior competition, where age, weight and experience all have to be considered when creating appropriate divisions. Our approach is designed to maximise opportunities to compete while keeping fair and appropriate matchmaking at the centre of the process.

Professionally Run Events

We believe competitors, coaches and spectators should know what to expect when they attend a Scottish Grappling event.

Our competitions are built around clear rules, experienced officials, carefully managed divisions and efficient event organisation. From registration and matchmaking through to weigh-ins, scheduling and competition on the day, our focus is on providing a consistent and professional experience.

We continually review how our events operate and use experience and feedback to improve the competition experience for athletes, coaches and spectators.

Supporting Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Scotland

Scottish Grappling exists because of the community around the sport.

We are proud to provide regular opportunities for athletes to test themselves in competition, for coaches to develop their teams and for academies from across the country to come together on the mats.

Whether it is your first competition or one of many, our objective remains the same: fair matches, clear standards and professionally run events.
